Today is probably one of the saddest days of my life. I've been made to feel low because of the heartbreak my Yasharalyt brother is suffering.
I keep thinking about all of the people that have been proven false or that have just simply given up. But this, this is just too much. I see now that it is possible for even those we hold in the highest esteem to slip and fall.
I'm not a gossip or business spreader. What I am is a sister truly concerned and distraught by a message I received today. It's not my place to share the contents, if this brother sent that post to you, then you know of whom I speak.
But this is not why I am posting this on my blog today. I am posting because I am saddened by the prospect that we seem to get so caught up in being Yasharal that sometimes we forget that we are fallible, flesh and blood, human. We stink. We are rotten to the core. In fact YHUH says that we are wicked and deceitful in our inner man.
Now, please don't get me wrong, I'm not calling out anyone's faults. However we ALL have them. And it is foolish to think we do not.
How do we know if we've been pardoned from all the chata we've committed? I tell you how. We seek YHUH in all humility and turn completely away from chata, seek His face, and ask Him to pardon us. Then and only then does He pardon us. And He says that when we do this our iniquities are removed from us. BUT, if we return to that chata, then our righteousness is removed. We have to trust that YHUH does exactly as He says. And yes, often we are haunted by our past, by the things we did when before we sought YHUH. Thats a good thing. If our chata is ever before us, it makes it
easier for us to not do that again.
Some would think this means that we haven't been forgiven, but that's not the truth. Daud said his
iniquities are ALWAYS before him.. This means that he lives with what he has done against YHUH each and every day. It's on his mind and in his heart. He knows that's he's lived a foul and filthy existence, and he realizes that nothing HE does could ever make it right. However, he trusted in YHUH blindly, and believed in what YHUH spoke to his ancestors about being chosen and he clung to YHUHs promises.
But, As usual I digress. The purpose of this post is what is important when one of our sisters or brothers "slip." What are our responsibilities to that person? What is expected of us?
In Yaqab's letter to the Yasharalyt/Yahudym in the dispersion, he admonishes them to turn a brother or sister who has strayed back to YHUH and he also says that if any brother or sister who is suffering kakopatheo (hardships, trouble, afflictions, sufferings) or astheneo (disease, impotence, weakness, sickness), we who are not afflicted should bring that person to the elders as they did in the days of old so that they could be anointed and prayed for (Uyaqra 4, Malakym Alaph 17, Husha 5, Yashayahu 30, 58, Yaramyahu 29) and that the prayers of the RIGHTEOUS would avail. In Yaramyahu 9 YHUH told the Prophet to bring forth the women who sing and wail sings of mourning and lamentation because death (spiritual death) has entered into our high places and cut off our children.
But, where are our elders? Where are our mourning women? It would seem as if there aren't any to be found. Too many false teachers, speakers, and witnesses. Too many silly maidens out here following after these false teachers and crooked men. Too many women being those spoken of in Yashayahu 3. Too many men leading when they aren't truly called by YHUH.
It is because of this that Yasharal continues to suffer, and our men and our women are falling off. YHUH said that He has saved a remnant. That means a very small left over portion. Know what this means? It means that not all who proclaim the truth are living it. Not all who say His name belong to Him.
We need to understand this, and seek out the ancient paths and stop trying to live For YHUH with mindsets of the world in which we live. We also need to pray for those that have been proven true. We need to hold up their arms so that they do not grow weary. We need to stop giving them reason to feel anguish, and lift them up. There's truly so few of them. We need to show YHUH and those that are truly called by Him that we appreciate the Barakah that we receive because of His anointed. And we need to stop acting like every man with a beard and tassels is anointed of YHUH.
When we seek YHUH, He will reveal those whim He has called. And when He leads us to them, we will know them by their fruit.

Longevity
Achuthy Yahuchana shared an article about longevity and blue zones in one of the groups she manages on Facebook. The article caused me to pause and do a little research into blue zones, and what they are. What I discovered led me to dig a little more into the whys and hows of longevity.
Below is a brief summary of what I learned:
Ten percent of longevity is determined by genes, the
remaining ninety percent by lifestyle choices.
Blue zones are described as areas where people live exceptionally
long lives. There are only five such
locations where this is pretty common throughout the world. The five regions identified and discussed in
the book The Blue Zones: Lessons for Living Longer from the People Who've Lived
the Longest, are outlined below:
Nicoya Peninsula, Costa Rica: the peninsula was the subject of research on a Quest Network expedition which began on January 29, 2007.
Icaria, Greece: an April 2009 study on the island of Ikaria uncovered the location with the highest percentage of 90 year-olds on the planet - nearly 1 out of 3 people make it to their 90s. Furthermore, Ikarians "have about 20 percent lower rates of cancer, 50 percent lower rates of heart disease and almost no dementia".
Residents of the first three places produce a high rate
of centenarians, suffer a fraction of the diseases that commonly kill people in
other parts of the developed world, and enjoy more healthy years of life.
The people inhabiting Blue Zones share common lifestyle
characteristics that contribute to their longevity.
There seems to be six shared characteristics among the
people of Okinawa, Sardinia, and Loma Linda Blue Zones:
Family – put ahead of other concerns
Less smoking
Vegetarianism – except for the Sardinian diet, the majority of food consumed is derived from plants
Constant moderate physical activity – an inseparable part of life
Social engagement – people of all ages are socially active and integrated into their communities
Legumes – commonly consumed
What seems to be shared among all of the people in the
blue zones is that they share a very similar way of living. A way of living that was quite common among
the Abaryt or Hebrew people in Scripture.
These similarities are outlined below:
Exercise
is natural, not with grueling hours at the gym or workouts that beat up and
tear your
body
down instead of encouraging natural flexibility, strength, and tone based off
regular day to day activities such as household chores, gardening, and taking regular walks.
Spending time outdoors, not just for the needed vitamin D, but for exercise and fresh air also.
Sharing
in community life where elders are generally celebrated and looked to for wisdom,
are
Respected
as valuable members of their communities, and as such impact the children
around them.
Having
a sense of purpose. In other words, not being
treated as if they are too old to do
anything,
including working. Their skills and
experiences are sought after and respected.
Eating
wisely. All of these groups enjoy diets
that are surprisingly as close to nature as one can
get. They consume lots of green vegetables and
legumes. They do not over eat. They eat wisely and in moderation. Because of this, they have lower rates of obesity, diabetes, heart
disease, cancers, and mental disease.
Have a strong social understanding. They have strong and supportive intimate as well as
communal relationships. Family comes before community and community comes before
money and material things. They maintain close friendships and live in a supportive structure.
It is very important to them to maintain and stay in touch with their spiritual and cultural
customs. They look upon the customs of the Western world as wicked, and pretty much
unnecessary to living.
When interviewed, a group of centenarians living in the
United States it was obvious that their “secret” to longevity was pretty
similar to those living in the blue zones.
They stated the following as what has kept them alive and healthy 100+
years:
Exercising the mind as well as the body, most walk daily as well as read
Having a strong foundation in their belief
Having a loving and supportive family
Keeping their bodies as clean from smoking, drinking, drugs, and toxins as they can
It is well understood among them that the true secret to
living life past 65 and into their 100s, is that to live as old as Mashah/Moses
did, they have to live like Mashah/Moses did.
